THEY WERE WARNED, JUST LIKE WE ARE.

Who were warned and who warned them?

Now who has been warned and who's warning them and warning them from what? As you and I know that after the fall and banishment of mankind
from the garden of Eden, God has placed them for eating from the tree
God has commanded them not to eat from, to the era of Cain and Abel in
which Cain attacked his brother Abel for doing what's right before God
and killed him which in turn God granted Adam another child (Seth) In
place of Abel, through the period of Noah, a preacher of Righteousness.

During this period, human beings began to increase in
number on the earth and beautiful daughters were born to them which
attracted the Sons of God and were married to them. The Lord was
dissatisfied and troubled with this act which made him say " My spirit
will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortals; their days
will be a hundred and twenty years" Gen 6v 3.

Before this extreme criminality or cruelty, mankind have lived so many

years on earth and still having child at a later stage of their life which is

now the total number of years they are to live after they

committed this sin which was not God's plan initially.

For instance, Adam still having kids at the age of 130 years old and lived 930 years, Seth who lived for 912 years, Enosh lived 815 years and Methuselah who lived 969 years, just to name a few. At that time, wickedness was great among the human race and every thought of human heart was only evil all the time which made the Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth and his heart was deeply troubled.

So the Lord said "I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created". But during this period, Noah, a preacher of Righteousness (2 Pe 2v 5) has been preaching to the people to refrain from their evil ways for in the
days before the flood, it was recorded that "People were eating and
drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered
the Ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen UNTIL the flood
came and took them all away" Mt 24v 38-39.

Up till today, it's still happening, we have so much fallin in love with the world and everything in it: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of
life and forsake the Lord. But Noah found favor in the eyes of the
Lord (Gen 6v 8) because he was a righteous man, blameless among the
people of his time and he walked faithfully with God( Gen 6v 9) which
made God to establish His covenant with him and his household( Gen 6v 18).

It was recorded that "Every living thing that moved on the land
perished- birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm
over the earth, and all mankind. Everything on dry land that had the
breath of life in its nostrils died. Every living thing on the face of
the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that
move along the ground and birds were wiped from the earth.

ONLY Noah was left, and those with him in the Ark." Gen 7v 21-23. THEREFORE, we are been WARNED now from the destruction that will come at the end
time( Mt 24). And whoever has ear, let them hear what the Spirit says
to the Church. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is the Paradise of God. (Rev 2v 7).

PEOPLE OF GOD, let us learn from the rich man and Lazarus in the book
of Luke 16v 24, it was recorded that the rich man was in AGONY in the
fire to the extend that he called Father Abraham to have pity on him
and to send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and to cool
his tongue, fire that never goes out( Mk 9v 44)

BE WARNED and stop chasing riches and wealth for the Bible says" It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to
enter the kingdom of God" Mt 19v 24. And what good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul( Mk 8v 36). Now that all has been heard, The hour has already come for you to wake from your slumber, because our Salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. SO let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the ARMOR OF LIGHT. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. RATHER, clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh. (Ro 13v 11-14).
